Just a quick reminder- The Mini Muslimah's will be getting active on Saturday 27th April as part of the April double. This will be taking place at St Josphs Art and Sports Centre, Rigby Street (Off Cemetery Road). The session will be from 11 am till 1 pm. The contribution towards this session will be £3 due to the heavy cost of hall hiring. For more information, contact us on 07507 156 026.

In April we will be holding two sessions. The details for these will be as follows:

Time:11am till 1pm
Venue: Quwwatul Islam Educational centre
Age: 8-13
Contribution: £2

Saturday 27th April
Mini Muslimah get active!!
Time: 11am till 1pm
Venue: St Joseph's Art and Sports Centre
Age: 8-13
Contribution: £3

Holiday Club: Day Two

Assalamu Alaykum W.W

Wooooahhh. What a day!!

The Mini Muslimah spring holiday club has come to an end. These past two days has been great.

Today, The Mini Muslimah Crew did lots of activities. These included sports, creative canvases, chocolate and marshmallow biscuits, making shapes with Playdoh, lollipop stick bookmarks, puppets, bracelets and cupcake key rings.
We also had a competition of writing a poem about a topic of their choice.

As the Mini Muslimah's arrived the group leaders were there to welcome and register them. They were all set free to take part in all the activities. As the weather brightened the girls got a chance to play in the outdoor area.

As it approached lunch time everyone helped tidy up. Everyone was served vegetable rice and yogurt raita.

After lunch all the groups played games and won some sweets. Then a very exciting time where everyone had to pick a paper out of a tin. They weren't allowed to open it until instructed to. There were three papers with the numbers 1, 4 and 35. When these were opened those with the numbers won a prize.

A winner for the poem competition is yet to be announced as the helpers didn't have enough time to read and choose a winner.

It's been a fantastic two day with fantastic helpers and beautiful Mini Muslimah's
Jazakallah to everyone which has helped make these two days successful. May the Almighty reward all those parents which took out every effort to send their daughters.

One day holiday club... DONE!

Assalamu Alaykum WW

Hope you're all well. The first holiday club this spring holiday has been fantastic. Very good turnout, lovely helpers and cute Mini Muslimah's.

The session was organised in aid of Jamia Anwar Uloom Vahalu. The founder if this is my Dada (Grandad). And he has the wish of establishing a Darul Uloom for boys in India. And funds needed to be raised towards this. The construction is well done up now and students will be enrolled after Ramadhan. Alhamdulillah we have raised an awesome amount as a crew of mini Muslimah's.

The session consisted of many activities: sports, gymnastics, drawing competition, badge making, charity box making, making a trendy bracelet, finger puppets and lots more. All the Mini Muslimah's did round robin on all the activities. Smiles all around, Alhamdulillah. In between snacks were given to everyone.

As bellies started rumbling lunch was served to all the mini Muslimah's. We all had pasta and garlic bread. The girls were reminded not to forget to pray the eating dua. بسم الله و بركت الله

After lunch we played games and had time for the girls to pray a nasheed. And before we even knew it 3pm came and it was time for them to go home! It's been a fantastic day with the girls and myself and all the helpers really enjoyed themselves. Hope you all did too.

Inshallah tomorrow will be 11am till 3pm again at St Joseph's art and sports centre with new and exciting activities.

Rescheduled Holiday Club...!

Just to let everyone know The Mini Muslimah Crews holiday club will be on tomorrow and Thursday from 11am till 3pm.. It will be taking place at St Joseph's art and sports centre.

Looking forward to seeing a lot of Mini Muslimah's. Inshallah

At the same time I request you all to keep my family in your duas that Allah gives us all a lot of sabr at the loss of such an amazing family member. He was a a very important part of my life and will be missed dearly.
