Brocholes Update

Assalamu Alaykum WW. 

Alhamdulillah you are lucky to have made it to the Brocholes Picnic. On this message are just some details you need to keep in mind for the day. 

- The coach will leave at 1pm so your daughter has to be at Quwwat Education Centre by 12.50 the latest. The Team will be there from 12.40pm. 

The coach will return between 3.45-4pm to Quwwat Education Centre. Please be prompt in picking your child up.

- Please wear appropriate clothing with long sleeves. 

- It is VERY important to wear suitable footwear preferably trainers. The session will consist of games/ walks and we want to ensure everyone is comfortable. IA 

- All snacks/ picnic will be catered for so girls don't need any money or food. We are not responsible for any personal belongings brought or lost on the trip. 

- The £6 payment should be made but if it hasn't then must be paid on Saturday. This contribution will pay for transport, picnic and any other expenses made. 

- As Mini Muslimahs we have a clear code of conduct and we suggest you explain to your daughters that they are representing us as well as themselves so good behaviour is compulsory at all times. 

- All emergency contact details for each child are details which have been sent. If this is to change please let us know ASAP. 

Please remember myself and all the volunteers in your duas. I am sure your child/ren will have a wonderful time.

Post Ramadhan Fun

Assalamu Alaykum WW Mothers and Mini Muslimahs. 

I hope you and your family's are well. 

Just some dates for the diary: we will be having a welcome back session Saturday 13th September, 

Time: 1pm-3pm

Venue: Quwwat Education Centre

Contribution: £2 

Ages 6+

Session will then follow on Saturday 20th September and Saturday 27th September. Details for these sessions will iA be given out this week. 

🌷 For the following Saturday (20th September) we are planning a picnic at Brocholes Nature Reserve. There will be a minimal charge to cover the cost of transport, individually packed lunches and activities . If interested then iA whatsapp 'Brocholes' in order to go about securing a place for your daughter.

🏊 If you are interested for a Post Eid FunSwim for your daughter on Saturday 11th October 2014, 4-7pm then text her full name and age to 07507 156 026.

Ramadhan sessions

Assalamu Alaykum WW Lovely mothers and Mini Muslimahs. 

I hope you're well. Alhamdulillah the month of Ramadhan has dawned upon us and today iA we shall be performing our first taraweeh. I pray that you have a month full of blessings, duas and love with your family and those close to your heart. Inshallah. 

The Mini Muslimah Crew have organised four fun filled sessions this Ramadhan. Each Tuesday throughout the month of Ramadhan.

Talent Show Update

Assalamu Alaykum WW Mini Muslimahs and Mothers. 

As you must have heard The Mini Muslimah Crew are hosting it's first ever talent show on Saturday 12th April from 1pm till 3pm. 

There will be a programme of those which have been selected to take part on the blog by Tuesday. All other Mini Muslimahs are welcomed to come along for the finale of the six weeks which will be followed by a buffet. Mini Muslimahs tickets will cost £2. 

Mothers and well wishers are also welcomed to attend to have an insight in what the group have achieved in the past year. Tickets must be reserved over text as they are very limited for a small contribution of 50p.

Sports Cente

Assalamu Alaykum WW Parents and Mini Muslimahs. 

Hope your well. There's been a slight change of plan for Saturday 5th April. Originally we had planned for a picnic in the park. However due to poor weather forecast and unforeseen circumstances we have hired the Moor Park High School Sports Centre(newly built in the playground). This is so we as a group have a base for all activities on the day. 

We will be having a picnic/snack there too. We will also be visiting the park. There will be many assorted games etc with age based groups.

Time: 1pm- 3pm promptly 

Contribution: £2.50 (due to cost of hall hiring)

Ages: 5-13 (strictly) 

Drop off point will be the sports centre which can be accessed from a gate just ahead of the main entrance and also from the St Thomas road entrance. 

Pick up point will be from the same place. Inshallah

Please ensure your daughter wears comfortable footwear and clothing. 

This week it is essential for your daughter to reserve a place by texting their full names and ages.

For those of you wanting to come swimming fill this consent slip and get the payment to me quick quick quick. Spaces are filling up FAST!

Assalamu Alaykum W.W Parents,

I hope you are in the best of Imaan and health. Once again, The Mini Muslimah Crew have organised a Girls only swimming session on Saturday 29^th March at a private pool on the outskirts of Penwortham. This is an opportunity for Mini Muslimah’s to bring Fun, Friendship and Faith together. The coach will leave Quwwatul Islam Education Centre at 3.30pm and return back approximately at 6.00pm.

The cost of the swimming session will be £7.50 which will cover the travelling cost to the Venue; a fun filled swimming session and a snack. This trip is open to 8- 13 year olds and only 7 year olds which are confident in water. Please ensure the girls bring a towel, swimming costume, leggings and any other swimming essentials. For your information, there will be only female lifeguards on duty on the day.

Due to limited space it is vital to reserve your Daughter’s place by: 

1. Returning the slip below and contribution to Mini Muslimah sessions on 15^th or 22^nd March. The place will then be secured via a text message.

2.-    Posting your reply slip below and the contribution in a sealed envelope to 14 Penguin Street, Deepdale. The place will then be secured via a text message.

Welcome to 2014...

Assalamu Alaykum WW Mini Muslimahs and parents. 

Alhamdulillah I'm back from Umrah and had a good rest. (I'm sure you've all been waiting for Mini Mislimah to start) 😁

The Mini Muslimah Crew will be starting again from Saturday 25th January. The session will be taking place 1pm till 3pm at Quwwat Education Centre. 

Contribution: £2 includes activity and snack

Details for the forthcoming weeks will be given out at the session and posted on the blog soon. Inshallah. Sessions will include nature walks, swimming, cake decorating, designing and making, and a residential weekend. All of these weeks are still in the pipeline so events will be finalised soon iA.
