The Mini Muslimah Crew win the Youth Leadership Award at Fusion 2015

About five weeks ago I posted a picture of The Mini Muslimah Crew bring shortlisted as a finalist for the Youth Leadership Award at Fusion 2015. An event which takes place to recognise the work of charity champions, volunteers and community groups and individuals which try to inspire the community in the North West. 

When posting the picture to the Mini Muslimah Crew Team of volunteers, parents and management I stressed that we aren't out there to win as what we do we try to do the best we can however there are groups and individuals which carry out just as meaningful activities for young people. 

Soon enough- Fusion 2015 dawned upon us. With much excitement and butterflies the team made their way to the event. Amongst amazing finalists for the award- The Mini Muslimah Crew @ Quwwat were made the official winners of the Youth Leadership Award sponsored by BAE systems. Alhamdulillah we were all so happy. 

The rest of the evening was fantastic. We had the opportunity to meet some amazing people that were so happy with the work we do and told us about our great achievement. 

BUT it doesn't stop there.. None of this would be possible without such amazing people behind me. 

Firstly, a huge Jazakallah to all Mini Muslimah's, Mini Mu'mins, their parents & all our well wishers. Your love and support at the start and end of each session and heart filled text messages really help us continue what we do. You give us the reassurance every time and Alhamdulillah that is what makes us carry on. So Jazkallah for always being there to help us help your young children be the best of people in the future. 

Also, a huge Jazakallah to the management @ Quwwat Education Centre and our awesome Mini Team volunteers. I pray the Almighty always supports the work we do and helps us continue by showering his blessings upon us always. I pray you enjoy what you do and do it purely for the sake of Allah. This award is not the end of an era In fact it will be the start of something just as beautiful. Inshallah. 

Just a heart filled Jazakallah to my Mum, Uzma, Farhin, Nadia and Tasneem. Without you five being by my side every step of the way I don't think we would be where we are today. Your support and enthusiasm towards the group is extraordinary and you help complete the venture I started from scratch. You've always been there for me through the times I've smiled for what we've achieved together and see me shed tears when I've been overwhelmed at what has come our way. 

Jazakallah for being there for me ALWAYS. And I love you all for the sake of Allah. (Farhin- missed you so much at the event but I hope you're having an amazing time at the other side of the world)

Assalamu Alaykum W.W Mothers and Mini Muslimah's. 

Hope you and your families are well and have had a good break. Alhamdulillah, the team can now confirm The Mini Muslimah Crew will be starting on Saturday 17th January 2015. Two sessions will run consecutively. More details for the second session will follow iA. 

Saturday 17th January

Venue: Welcome Back @ Quwwat Education Centre 

Time: 1pm- 3pm 

Contribution: £2 

Age: 6+ 

Please start to reserve places from this week. Also, feel free to pass the word around to Mothers as I have lost some contacts.

Brocholes Update

Assalamu Alaykum WW. 

Alhamdulillah you are lucky to have made it to the Brocholes Picnic. On this message are just some details you need to keep in mind for the day. 

- The coach will leave at 1pm so your daughter has to be at Quwwat Education Centre by 12.50 the latest. The Team will be there from 12.40pm. 

The coach will return between 3.45-4pm to Quwwat Education Centre. Please be prompt in picking your child up.

- Please wear appropriate clothing with long sleeves. 

- It is VERY important to wear suitable footwear preferably trainers. The session will consist of games/ walks and we want to ensure everyone is comfortable. IA 

- All snacks/ picnic will be catered for so girls don't need any money or food. We are not responsible for any personal belongings brought or lost on the trip. 

- The £6 payment should be made but if it hasn't then must be paid on Saturday. This contribution will pay for transport, picnic and any other expenses made. 

- As Mini Muslimahs we have a clear code of conduct and we suggest you explain to your daughters that they are representing us as well as themselves so good behaviour is compulsory at all times. 

- All emergency contact details for each child are details which have been sent. If this is to change please let us know ASAP. 

Please remember myself and all the volunteers in your duas. I am sure your child/ren will have a wonderful time.

Post Ramadhan Fun

Assalamu Alaykum WW Mothers and Mini Muslimahs. 

I hope you and your family's are well. 

Just some dates for the diary: we will be having a welcome back session Saturday 13th September, 

Time: 1pm-3pm

Venue: Quwwat Education Centre

Contribution: £2 

Ages 6+

Session will then follow on Saturday 20th September and Saturday 27th September. Details for these sessions will iA be given out this week. 

🌷 For the following Saturday (20th September) we are planning a picnic at Brocholes Nature Reserve. There will be a minimal charge to cover the cost of transport, individually packed lunches and activities . If interested then iA whatsapp 'Brocholes' in order to go about securing a place for your daughter.

🏊 If you are interested for a Post Eid FunSwim for your daughter on Saturday 11th October 2014, 4-7pm then text her full name and age to 07507 156 026.

Ramadhan sessions

Assalamu Alaykum WW Lovely mothers and Mini Muslimahs. 

I hope you're well. Alhamdulillah the month of Ramadhan has dawned upon us and today iA we shall be performing our first taraweeh. I pray that you have a month full of blessings, duas and love with your family and those close to your heart. Inshallah. 

The Mini Muslimah Crew have organised four fun filled sessions this Ramadhan. Each Tuesday throughout the month of Ramadhan.

It is essential you reserve your daughters place by texting 07507 156 026. Inshallah these sessions will be full of baking and making, arts and craft and spiritual circle time. 

Finally I request to remember myself and the team in your duas throughout the entire month of Ramadhan. We can only do this with your duas and support.
